Our data persistence layer is built on SQLAlchemy, distributed task processing on Python-RQ and ZeroMQ, and our automated deployment management and other internal operations rely on Fabric. We use PostgreSQL as our general data store, as well as Cassandra, Redis, and Memcached where appropriate.
Our codebase is organized as an API-oriented architecture and split into several well-defined projects, all of which are hosted on GitHub.

Le groupe Montréal-Python a été créé fin 2007. Depuis ce temps, la communauté Python à Montréal a énormément grandi et les activités se sont véritablement diversifiées.
Montréal-Python, c’est une communauté de plus de 200 Pythoneux. L’équipe d’organisation se compose de 6 personnes. Traditionnellement, la communauté se rassemble à chaque mois pour une présentation principale et des présentations flash, plus courtes. Depuis 2010, le groupe a participé à plusieurs sprints, dont la traduction de Django et la création de paquetages. Cette année, Montréal-Python poursuit l’organisationdes ateliers et des tutoriels, bâtissant une communauté encore plus forte entre autre en organisant des soirées de projets.
Cette effervescence et ces activités ont été rendues possibles grâce à l’implication constante de nos membres et le support continu de nos commanditaires. Montréal-Python est d’ailleurs fier de cette mobilisation qui a probablement contribué au succès des deux éditions de PyCon à Montréal, en 2014 et en 2015.
